Absurdia.xyz is a shiny, simple thought bubble launched during the heat of August 2026 by Mack Simpson, a writer living in the Southwest just trying to live his best life, which is an absolutely absurd thing to try to do, much less do consistently.
Absurdia is an essayistic project about the mismatch between human attempts to impose order on reality and reality's persistent refusal to cooperate.
Its central meditation isn't that the world is absurd (though it can certainly feel that way at times), it's that humans repeatedly do things that are simultaneously, irrational, magnificent, stubborn, impractical, brilliant, unnecessary and, most importantly, deeply human.
People are fascinating, intelligent, well-intentioned creatures who repeatedly construct incredibly complicated ways of making things worse.
But not you. You're different.
